拙而奇 藝廊咖啡 Joki Art and Coffee 雙濱共好店家
拙而奇JOKI是由甘信一先生及其工作團隊於1996年時在花蓮石門成立,主要以石、各式原木與金屬銅等三元素進行複合性材質創作。在東海岸山水的涵養之下,甘信一先生將其對生命的感動與想像,以創意重新解構組合,透過點、線、及不規則圖塊的交舞,讓作品跳脫事物表象的束縛,直接與觀賞者進行心靈對話,令人忘我於神祕境界當中。

大腳丫和眼睛所組成的品牌圖像,象徵著拙而奇JOKI一直以來所秉持的精神:「對生命充滿好奇」,人類必須透過自己的眼睛去觀察,用強而有力的腳去印證,才能真正感受到生命的豐富與多采多姿,所謂藝術也正是來自於此種對生命的感動。

Joki was founded by A-Chen’s father Mr. Gan Xinyi and his team in Shimen, Hualien (1996). The complex creations are mainly composed of three elemental materials: metals (such as copper), wood, and stone. Under the aegis of the east coast mountains and bodies of water, Mr. Gan Xinyi manifests his imagination and emotions in his artistic creations. A choreography of dots, lines, and irregular shapes frees his artwork from the shackles of physical representation and lets his artwork go beyond the surface appearance into a spiritual level that speaks directly to the soul. Leaving viewers lost in a mysterious realm.

The brand logo with it’s bare feet and eyes symbolizes and represents the spirit of Joki “Life should always be full of curiosity”. Humanity must observe with their eyes and let their feet carry them through experiences. Only then will humanity be able to truly experience the richness and vibrancy of life. The true origins of art officially comes from our experiences in life.

"光織屋" (Paterongan Art), an art studio co-founded by artists Chen Shuyan and Duwak, is a place that awakens the inner creative spirit of every visitor. Using local, natural, dyeing and weaving materials, and traditional textile and weaving techniques, Guang Weaving House combines elements of living, dining, and workshop to provide comprehensive tribal experience classes, allowing travelers to delve deep into the cultural essence of the land. Guang Weaving House also offers customized itineraries of the surrounding areas, giving travelers a more diverse and enriching experience.

Coastal Coffee Manor in Hualien, established by Mr. Hu Yongzhe from the Fengfu Tribe, cultivates coffee using eco-friendly methods on ancestral land. This estate, founded by young locals who have returned to their roots, offers a unique experience with natural coffee farming, tribal tours, and traditional roasting and dining experiences. The dining area, crafted with traditional bamboo weaving, serves indigenous, creative dishes that combine the tribe's vegetarian culture with locally grown coffee. It serves as a hub where community elders, tribal youth, and mothers collaborate to create and share their culinary heritage.

高山森林基地 GaoShan Forest Center 雙濱共好店家
位在台⼗⼀線旁海岸山脈上,有⼀群少少的布農族⼈住在這裡。他們翻山越嶺從中央山脈搬到海岸山脈,像是從⽗母臂膀展翅⽽⾶的孩⼦,在山的這頭⾛出屬於⾃⼰獨特的⽣命故事。高山森林基地主人小馬說「森林,是在地人與旅人最好的陪伴。」小馬想分享的森林是回到大自然與每個人的連結,透過山林奔馳、射箭、鑽木取火、走繩等體驗,牽起旅人與自然的聯繫。

Located on the slopes of coastal mountains next to the Provincial Highway, lives a small group of people from the Bunun tribe. Like the children who have flown from their parent’s nest in the central mountain range, they travelled over mountains and came to the coastal mountains to start their own life story. High Mountain Forest Base owner, Xiao-Ma says “ the forest is the best companion for locals and visitors.” Xiao-Ma wants to share the forest in hopes of letting people reconnect with nature. Through forest trekking, archery, making campfires, and rope climbing, Xiao-Ma hopes to establish connections between nature and mankind.

稻味釀小酒莊 Fragrant Rice-wine Winery 雙濱共好店家
舒米‧如妮是阿美族人,成長於花蓮石梯坪港口部落,這裡曾是重要的農田命脈,卻在青壯人口外移後,荒廢30年。2009年開始,舒米‧如妮投身水梯田復育,她的故事曾被改編成電影《太陽的孩子》,那既柔軟又堅毅的素樸形象,感動無數人。而現在,舒米・如妮為了保留逐漸消失的釀酒文化,成立了《稻味釀小酒莊》,港口部落有16位伊娜參與舒米‧如妮的釀酒和示範;讓旅人透過導覽體驗,更加了解糯米酒的文化以及背後的故事。小米酒在阿美族傳統裡被稱為「長者的酒」 ,為了崇天,敬老所釀造,只有在節慶時,部落裡的伊娜(Inas指部落婦女)才聚在一起釀酒,因為它很稀有,所以也非常的珍貴。

《稻味釀小酒莊》釀酒體驗採預約制,透過導覽及影片認識阿美族糯米酒文化及背後故事後,品嘗小米酒原味及變化調酒;體驗伊娜們阿美族節慶樂舞,學習如何向阿美族長輩敬酒等。同時也有機會參與酒釀製作,從下酒麴、酵母,翻動糯米至裝罐,將成品帶回存放品嚐。完整體驗釀酒過程。

Sumi Dongi is from the Amis Tribe and grew up in the Makotaay Tribal village of Shi Ti Ping, Hualien. The location used to be an integral part of the local farming legacy, however after the younger generation moved away from home, it was abandoned for 30 years. Since 2009, Sumi Dongi has been involved in the restoration process of terraced fields. Her story has been adapted into the movie “Wawa No Cidal” (太陽的孩子). Her gentle and humble imagery has moved countless people across the world. Today, Sumi hopes to build a winery in her village in order to allow more travellers to experience and understand the culture and story of rice wine. She hopes to achieve this through guided tours through her village.

「莎娃綠岸文化工作室」是一個傳承港口部落智慧的文化空間,提供旅客文物館文化導覽、傳統苧麻工藝DIY、巫師樂舞的展演及港口部落的深度文化體驗。工作室由兩姊妹Lafay、Labay以及母親共同經營。他們致力於部落文化的保存工作,也是部落中原住民土地歸還議題的意見領袖。在這裡也提供有機農園的健康料理。

"Sawah Green Shore Cultural Studio" is a cultural space that carries the wisdom of the Makotaay Tribe. It offers museum tours, traditional weaving experience, and performances of shamanic music and dance so visitors can fully experience the Makotaay tribal culture. The studio is co-run by two sisters, Lafay and Labay, with their mother. They are dedicated to preserving their tribal culture and are opinion leaders on the issue of indigenous land return. Additionally, they serve healthy dishes made from produce from their organic farm.

They support local farmers, and use wild vegetables and poultry raised by tribal elders, sourcing their ingredients sustainably.

Preserving local culture and embracing innovation, they seek traditional talents and start small businesses with their fellow tribespeople, creating new job opportunities. Through collaboration with both locals and travelers, they establish a friendly and mutually beneficial environment. Candy(王婷瑤)原是北部人,2012年因為愛海移居豐濱,在緩慢石梯坪當店長,2015年移居到靜浦並成立「下鄉行動個人工作室」,其中經營的「依浪」,提供最不打擾海洋的無動力獨木舟與浮潛活動,讓親海體驗不只是遊憩休閒,而是生態保育的行動者;不想下海的人還可參加石梯坪潮間帶的導覽遊程,豐富對海洋的認識。

Originally from northern Taiwan, Candy (Wang Ting Yao) moved to Fengbin in 2012 because of her love for the sea. She relocated to Jingpu in 2015 and established "Rural Action Studio". Among her various other undertakings, "Yi Lang" offers non-intrusive water activities such as kayaking and snorkeling, so travelers can enjoy the ocean without disturbing its ecosystem, promoting ecological conservation. For those who prefer to stay on land, guided tours of the intertidal zone are available to enrich their understanding of the ocean.

Candy prioritizes hiring local tribal youth coaches, providing employment opportunities for young people in the area. She has collaborated with the East Coast National Scenic Area Administration, the Forestry Bureau, and the Ocean Conservation Administration to monitor common edible species in the intertidal zone, safeguarding marine resources in the area. "Mountains and forests are lovers of the ocean; everything we do on land is ultimately borne by the sea," Candy says.
Candy also cultivates "Sea Rice" sustainably in Hualien’s Jingpu valley. She insists on not using pesticides, herbicides, or even organic fertilizers, irrigating the rice with the pristine and unpolluted water from the Lixue River, thereby revitalizing the ecological environment of Xiuguluan River’s southern bank.

「里艾廚房&人魚海」是由里艾擔任主廚,融合人與海洋文化的特色料理。

熱愛大海的里艾,不是在店裡就是在海裡,將親自打撈的新鮮海鮮結合在地食材與部落種植的蔬果及野菜、特色香料如刺蔥、甜芥等,呈現出當天最新鮮的東海岸佳餚,店裡手作甜點跟飲品也是一大特色,為用餐體驗增添甜蜜的風味。阿美族飲食文化表現在每一道料理中,為用餐者帶來味覺的驚喜之旅。

「里艾廚房&人魚海」無菜單創意料理,提供預約制服務,需三天前預訂,每個餐期都有限制用餐人數,當天或三天內一樣可以來電詢問,如有客人取消可安排候補,不定時公休。

The common area features a high-ceiling living room with an expansive window that overlooks the breathtaking East Coast. The atmosphere here is infused with art and philosophy, and the room designs are minimalistic yet powerful, with exposed cement walls that exude a modern sensibility, like an art gallery.

Breakfast includes artisan bread, homemade jams, butter, boiled eggs, ham, coffee, tea, and seasonal fruits. The communal kitchen is well-equipped, allowing guests to cook simple meals and enjoy a mellow lifestyle.

There is no air-conditioning in the inn’s public areas; instead, guests can enjoy the seasonal breezes which come down from the mountains. "We are right next to the Pacific Ocean, and the heat here is different from that of the city." By limiting the use of air-conditioning, the inn’s owners, Louis and Nancy, hope guests will spend more time outside to enjoy the view of the sea and the starry sky. To protect the environment, the inn has its own wastewater treatment system and uses environmentally-friendly shampoo and shower gel. They also do not provide disposable toothpaste and toothbrushes. By asking travelers to use air-conditioning moderately and changing towels sparingly, Louis and Nancy will be able to reducing the unnecessary use of bleach, strive to safeguard the environment themselves as well.

"Life here is so beautiful; we aspire to contribute to this place." On top of running the inn, Louis and Nancy tutor local tribal children and teach them English. They also teach at nearby primary and secondary schools. They wish to spend more time with the local students, guiding them and growing together with them.

"Sky Earth and Sea" bed and breakfast is not just a comfortable place to stay, but also a melting pot of literature, philosophy, and art. Each of the five guest rooms allows guests to enjoy the beautiful mountain and sea views right from their beds, and the breakfast is nourishing and made with natural ingredients. Only two kilometers from the Fengbin Village center (a two-minute drive), it is located in an excellent spot for touring the area.

Founded by two musicians who love traveling, the bed and breakfast was built on an abandoned piece of land on Taiwan's east coast, where they fulfilled their dream of retreating to the mountains. In addition to their love of music, the owners also have a deep passion for architectural design. They put in years of effort, collaborating with architects and designers, to find inspirations for the bed and breakfast from the vast expanse of the Pacific Ocean.

"Fish Tales" is a bed and breakfast with unobstructed ocean views. The owner, who worked in the construction industry, grew up by the sea and has a deep passion for the ocean. His wife, who holds a Chinese cuisine certification, is skilled in the kitchen. They sometimes invite visitors to go fishing with them. In the evening, they serve freshly-caught fish and locally grown vegetables. During dinner, the owner shares stories about the ocean, fish, crabs, and shellfish, and so on. He teaches visitors how to purchase seafood sustainably and protect the ocean and its resources.

「海聽魚說」是標準的綠建築,民宿順著山勢與地形建造,雖然大廳沒有遮光簾,陽光也不會直射屋內、沒裝冷氣,但室內仍能感到清新空氣的在流動。民宿的地下室設置了雨水的蓄水池,能在旱季時替停車坪降溫、草地澆水,充分循環利用水資源。

"Fish Tales'' is a perfect example of green architecture. The structure is built in harmony with its natural terrain and landscape. There is no need for curtains nor air conditioning in the lobby because sunlight does not exposure directly into the lobby and the air inside stays fresh and flowing. In the basement, there is a rainwater reservoir, which helps cool the parking area and water the lawn during dry seasons. “Fish Tales” also stresses ecological conservation, thus not providing single-use products and avoiding pesticides and herbicides. Around the guesthouse, you can spot tree frogs, hermit crabs, and mantis shrimps.

One of the café’s highlights is its sashimi, celebrated for its unparalleled freshness and tenderness. “HIKA Station” also extends a warm welcome to pets.

「阿KEN 小農蜜」座落於一座樸拙的透天屋宅內,由阿Ken與大英共同經營。這裡販售的蜂蜜是以最天然的方式摘採而成堅持不使用藥物,有口袋裝、一般裝及大罐裝的柚子蜜、龍眼蜜、百花森林蜜及荔枝蜜,適合旅客送禮是或自用。
阿Ken與大英的日常很簡單,看山見海、與蜜蜂相伴。雖然養蜂的過程並不輕鬆,但他們保持樂天知足的態度,將抱怨轉化為笑語。他們對生活的豁然哲學也融入了每一罐蜂蜜中,邀請旅客一同品味其中的美好。

"Ken’s Honey Farm" is situated in a modest house, and is co-run by husband and wife Ah Ken and Da Ying. The honey here is harvested in the most natural way, and is chemical-free. Pocket-size, regular-size, and large jars of pomelo honey, longan honey, wildflower forest honey, and lychee honey are on sale for gift or personal use. Ah Ken and Da Ying lead a simple lifestyle surrounded by mountains, sea, and bees. Although beekeeping is hard work, they stay content and optimistic, turning complaints into laughter. Their philosophy of embracing life is infused into each jar of honey, which travelers can taste.

「水樹aquatree resort」的創立靈感來自於日本輕井澤渡假經驗的無窮靜謐體驗,由具有豐富的旅館設計經驗的建築師先生與室內設計師太太共同打造。純白的旅館前方眺望海景,後方山脈午後宛如烈日的遮陽傘,以現代極簡的外觀讓建築與天空、海洋融為一體,孩子們能在其中戲水的淺水池,為旅館營造了清澈透明的水中倒影意象。每年四或五月旅館周遭會有整片向日葵環繞,在這片自然賜予的美好景色中,水樹希望旅客能夠體驗都市人沒有的慢活,推薦至少要有三天兩夜的停留。

"Aquatree Resort" is inspired by the serene experiences of staying in Japan’s Karuizawa retreat. It is founded by a husband and wife team, who collectively possess extensive knowledge in hotel and interior design. The pure white resort faces the sea in the front, while mountains in the back shield the building against the afternoon sun. The modern minimalist structure seamlessly blends in with the sky and the ocean. A shallow children’s pool doubles as a reflection pool. Every year in April and May, the resort is surrounded by sunflowers. "Aquatree" recommend guests can stay at least three days and two nights, to experience the natural beauty around the resort and a leisurely pace of life that city dwellers might not be accustomed to.

水樹開始建造的時候,便秉持為在地創造就業機會的想法,一半的工作人員都是聘任當地原住民青年,為了減少化學物的汙染,建築外牆完全採用德國環保塗料,並選用自然素材竹子製成圍欄。為了推動綠色旅行,不主動提供一次性產品,大廳裝設逆滲透飲水機,房間內亦使用玻璃瓶裝飲用水。旅館的FRP污水過濾系統,將污水分解後才排放到公共管道。
為了讓旅客深入雙濱生活內涵,水樹旅館有公共空間和會議室供在地陶藝、編織、釀酒等手作店家進行跨界合作,讓住宿與文化體驗做結合,並與雙濱共好店家串聯,推薦在地特色戶外體驗活動如溯溪、浮潛、SUP等水上活動。

Recognising the importance of creating local employment opportunities, during construction, half of the staff were locally hired indigenous youth. To reduce chemical pollution, the exterior walls were coated with eco-friendly paint from Germany, and natural bamboo was used for fencing. To promote green travel, single-use products are not provided unrequested, a water filter dispenser is installed in the lobby, and glass-bottled is supplied in rooms. The resort's FRP wastewater filtration system breaks down sewage before it is released into public pipelines.

To immerse guests in the cultural experiences of the area, the resort provides public spaces and conference rooms for collaborations with local handicraft shops, such as pottery, weaving, and brewing. It also connects with local businesses to recommend outdoor activities that highlight the region's uniqueness, like stream tracing, snorkeling, and stand-up paddleboarding (SUP).
